The Red Devils will be desperate to get three points on the board after just two wins from their six games so far.
Pressure on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has turned up a notch after they edged out League One outfit Rochdale on penalties in the Carabao Cup last week.
Meanwhile, Arsenal could move up to third in the table if they win at Old Trafford.

Manchester United 1-1 Arsenal – David McDonnell
Both teams need a result and performance after unconvincing starts to the season, but there is little to suggest either side has the tools and belief to secure the win they both need.
Arsenal haven’t won at Old Trafford for 13 years, while United lack goals and conviction, as well as potentially having to cope without Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial, Luke Shaw and Marcus Rashford, all of whom are automatic picks.
Against that backdrop, a draw seems the likeliest outcome.

There was a time, either side of the millennium, when this fixture was football’s equivalent of the Beatles taking on the Rolling Stones. Now it’s like S Club 7 against Steps.

Sky are still trailing events from 15 years ago to preview this one – which shows where both clubs are – on the outside, looking in.
That said, there’s still just enough glitz to make it worth tuning in for later – although perhaps it’s just a sense of the macabre at seeing just how bad Manchester United really are.
It was a limp effort at the Olympic Stadium last week and if Arsenal had the grit and determination of seasons’ past, you’d say this one would be a shoo-in for the Gunners.
Unfortunately, these days, they’re about as porous as a tea-bag – which at least makes it interesting.
